Catarina Veríssimo Garanhão (Cate) is a Legal Analyst at Arce Immigration Law, PA. She received her Law Degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2020. She then went on to do a Masters in Forensic Law from the same University, in 2023. She is registered with the Portuguese Bar Association as a Lawyer.

Her passion for Immigration Law began as soon as she started her traineeship at the Portuguese Bar Association, and she has been working in the field ever since.

Cate worked for three years in Portuguese Immigration Law in Lisbon, assisting various clients from around the world. This has given her extensive experience in handling different types of Residency and Portuguese Citizenship processes.

Cate lives in a surfing village near Lisbon called Ericeira. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and playing tennis along with other sports. She is bilingual in Portuguese and English.
