Olta Gjoca is an Associate Attorney at Arce Immigration Law. She received a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School and is licensed in New York. During Law School, she interned with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New York, where she assisted with asylum and Immigrant Juvenile Status cases, as well as adjustment of status petitions. She was also involved in the Moot Court Honor Society and participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court and Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competitions. After passing the bar and before coming to Arce Immigration, Olta worked for a medical malpractice defense litigation firm in Manhattan.

Prior to law school, Olta graduated from Creighton University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in History. She subsequently relocated to New York City and worked as a paralegal for a litigation firm in downtown Manhattan before continuing on to law school. Olta was born in Tirana, Albania and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was ten years old. She speaks fluent English, Albanian and Italian and has an intermediate level in French. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
