Business Management Specialist  

Soraya was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de la Empresa of Montevideo,Uruguay.  She has also received a Business Management Specialist Certification from the Federal University of Lavras, Brazil. Prior to Business School, Soraya earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The Newton Paiva University of Brazil.

Ms. Resende has worked as a Senior Human Resources Analyst for national and multinational companies in Brazil and the U.S.  She was also a University Professor in Business and Accounting courses.  In addition she is a Notary Public for the State of Florida.

A strong believer in the power of Education, Soraya moved to the U.S. in 2012 for her children to be able to study here.  As an Immigrant herself, she is empathetic to our clients needs and concerns and is better equipped to help them understand our role in their immigration processes.

Soraya’s first language is Portuguese, but she is also proficient in both Spanish and English.  Her language skills are a great asset to our firm and our clients. 

As an Executive Assistant (primarily to Lead Attorney Carmen Arce), Soraya is trusted to handle confidential and sensitive issues across the business and assists with documents, appointments and administrative tasks including managing reports related to deadlines and calendaring.

In her spare time, Ms. Resende enjoys learning more about our Immigration System, reading, working out, and spending time outdoors with her family.
