We are proud to announce that Carmen Arce, Founding Partner of Arce Immigration Law, has earned Board Certification in Immigration Law from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) — becoming one of the first attorneys in the United States to achieve this distinction as part of the founding class of certified Immigration Law advocates.
The NBTA certification is among the most rigorous and respected legal credentials in the country. Fewer than 3% of American attorneys are board certified, and even fewer hold certification at both the state and national level — as Carmen now does.
This prestigious recognition requires attorneys to complete a comprehensive and demanding vetting process, including:
- Demonstration of substantial legal and courtroom experience
- Submission of peer and judicial references attesting to professional skill and ethics
- Continuing legal education in the field of immigration law
- Submission of legal writing samples
- Successful completion of a national certification exam
As a founding member of the NBTA’s Immigration Law certification program, Carmen worked closely with the organization for several years in helping establish the standards, framework, and examination process that now define this elite credential nationwide.
With over 20 years of experience and more than 5,000 successful immigration cases, Carmen Arce is now nationally recognized for her expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence in immigration law.
At Arce Immigration Law, this milestone is more than an individual achievement — it reflects our firm’s continued dedication to providing clients with the highest level of legal counsel and personalized service.
